Pavels is SVP Credit and Bancassurance Business and a member of the Management Board. He joined us in 2020 from our former parent company, 4Finance.

He has over 20 years of experience in retail banking with focus in consumer finance and deposits. Pavels has extensive background at Estonian based Bigbank. After starting his career with developing sales network, Pavels got promoted up to the position of member of Management Board. He was leading the transformation of the business model and the team from offline to online, including migration from legacy to a modern and inhouse built new banking system. He had played the key role in execution of successful change of business model of Bigbank from non-bank institution to one of the most successful specialized online consumer lending banks in Central Europe. He was directly responsible for bank’s business and teams in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Netherlands and Austria.

Pavels holds MSc degree from University of Latvia, as well is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, which was obtained at the University of Bedfordshire in UK. He likes to play tennis in amateur tournaments and with his son, whom he coaches occasionally. Pavels enjoys traveling with his family and trying out new things, especially new software that improves lifestyle.
