Armen Matevosyan is Chief Data, AI & Monetization Officer at tbi bank and a member of the bank’s senior leadership team. He is an international banking executive with more than 20 years of experience in retail banking, consumer finance, and business transformation.

Armen first joined tbi bank in 2019 as Chief Commercial Officer, where he led the expansion of the bank’s consumer finance and merchant ecosystem across multiple markets. He later led the creation and launch of hashbank, a fully digital bank in the Republic of Georgia, building the institution from the ground up on behalf of a group of investors and serving as its Chief Executive Officer during the bank’s establishment phase. In 2026 he returned to tbi bank to lead its Data, AI & Monetization function.

Earlier in his career, Armen held senior leadership roles at Liberty Bank, Rosbank, Société Générale, and Bank Republic, building deep expertise across retail banking, channels, and financial services transformation.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the European School of Management in Georgia, completed studies at Montana State University (USA) as a George Soros Foundation scholar, completed executive education at MIT Sloan, and is currently pursuing a Master in Business Analytics and Data Science at the IE School of Science and Technology.
