We launched deposits in Romanian Lei on the Bulgarian market, offering up to 6.5% annual interest

We launched a new savings product for Bulgarian customers – deposits in Romanian Lei with up to 6.5% annual interest rate. The offer is available for both private individuals and corporate clients. They can choose between 1- and 12-month duration.

Based on our operation in the threecore markets – Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece, we can offer better products and conditions from neighboring markets and make them accessible to Bulgarians.

With this attractive cross-market offer, we address the needs of customers looking for higher returns than term deposits in BGN, EUR, and USD.

Like all our other savings products, opening and closing a deposit in Romanian Lei is fee-free. In addition, a favorable exchange rate will be applied when exchanging leva, euros, or US dollars for Lei and vice versa. All deposits are protected by the State Deposit Guarantee Fund up to the equivalent of BGN 196,000.

Every interested Bulgarian customer can receive more information on the new product from our exclusive savings office at +359878429832, deposits@tbibank.bg. Customers are also welcomed in our offices across the country, where they will receive assistance to quickly and easily open a deposit in Romanian Lei, as well as in BGN, EUR, and USD at some of the highest interest rates on the Bulgarian market.
